St Benedict’s Church has served the faith community of Coolmeen since 1831.
The church is an important part of the parish’s religious heritage. Its historic features include a medieval baptismal font, which provides a link to the area’s earlier Christian history.
Today, St Benedict’s continues to welcome parishioners and visitors for Mass, prayer and the celebration of the sacraments.
