St Ciarán’s Church, Labasheeda

Kilmurry McMahon–Labasheeda Parish

St Ciarán’s Church serves the community of Labasheeda on the shores of the Shannon Estuary.

Built in 1976 entirely through voluntary labour, the church stands as a testament to the faith, generosity and determination of the local community.

The bell and seating from the earlier church were transferred to the new building, maintaining a connection with the parish’s past.

Today, St Ciarán’s continues to provide a welcoming place for worship, prayer and gathering together in faith.
